Characterization is a topic that we’ve been tackling for quite some time in language arts and today we had a quiz on it. A lot of people said that it was easy but it was difficult to think of words.
Vocabulary is very important when it comes to characterization. As our grade level goes higher, we need to use a larger variety of words. As I was taking ym quiz, there was one segment and there was only one word I could think of that could describe the character, LAZY. I could not think of another word except for unmotivated. right after I took the quiz I searched up its synonyms and there were many. I saw unmotivated and I felt disappointed, how and why did I not put that in? It sounded like a much more intelligent word compared to lazy.
